Glass Demo - Benchmark Test

This was created by Gilles Tran www.oyonale.com a long time ago. I've used it as a benchmark test as it has many options which really test a computers ability to process.The light refractions and reflections result in long render times. My current machine rendered this in 3 hours and 11 minutes. Not a photograph, but Persistence of Vision. This one had radiosity turned off. Gilles Tran has released this to the public domain. POV source for this and many 3d objects available at the site mentioned above. Gilles' render at the site includes radiosity and does improve on this.
